Icecream Coffee





Sometimes a little porcelain teacup just doesn't cut the mustard. Even the standard sturdy mug seems to lack. This morning l took inspiration from the French. They drink their hot chocolate from bowls. Commandeering my antique tureen, I made very strong coffee and added a lot of vanilla ice cream...the cheap sweet stuff works the best, and means no sugar need be added. Its an amazing contrast, drinking a very hot and cold drink at the same time. Call it Melted Alaska, if you will. And the caffeine gives wings if not actual rocket jets.
