News

Following the success of the York Open Studios exhibition at York Cemetery Chapel, I am delighted to announce that I am showing my work at Pyramid Gallery of York.

With thanks to all who attended, encouraged and supported me during this event. I feel newly energised and inspired to take Moth and Magpie to the next level, whatever that may be!

Showing now at Blossom Street Gallery, York.
A selection of one off upcycled antique jewellery pieces.

------------

Coming soon-
Showing in the summer exhibition of individual British jewellers at Pyramid Gallery, York, from May
-----------

In the pipeline is something I've wanted to do for a while now - Upcycling jewellery workshops. My first, hosted by Heather Lamborn of The Bee Loft , will take place in October.

We will be using our unworn and broken jewellery to create beautiful wearable new jewellery.  Breathe new life into your look or take the opportunity to make that heirloom piece wearable (we can even do this without hurting it if you'd rather...)

My latest adventure? Exhibiting at Rural Arts @ The Courthouse Gallery, Thirsk. This May and June there is an upcycling exhibition so my pieces are fitting in perfectly!

-------------------

With grateful thanks to all who made my first York Open Studios a success, especially my fellow artists and staff at York Environment Centre, and my dear mother who became my faithful assistant during the first weekend.

My latest news? I just opened a little shop to sell my vintage and antique finds for the home. Mostly its decorative, unusual objets d'art with the odd functional item thrown in for balance. My rule-if its beautiful its allowed in!

Visit my outlet in the heart of historic York. My pop-up shop is hosted at the Flax and Twine on The Shambles, who also have an amazing restaurant on the first floor.
